Area Parking Information and Updates:

    Ground has been broken on the new underground parking structure next to the downtown Ann Arbor Public Library!  The new structure is scheduled to open in the summer of 2011.  A few years overdue, but parking will be much better when these new spaces become available.

   In the meantime, all monthly parking permit holders (except for residents of Tower Plaza) have been moved to the Washington Street structure. Also, due in part to pressure from area businesses like ours, arrangements have been made to move the bulk of construction-related parking from the Maynard structure to the Washington Street structure.  This has helped a lot during peak hours.  Students will be leaving town in a few short months, and major construction projects wrapping up by fall, so parking should be a lot easier very soon!
